Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small values that a website can store in your browser and send with later requests. Local storage is a separate browser feature that keeps information on your device without automatically sending it with each request. Both can be used to remember preferences.

What this site stores

Cookie preference

Name: canadamsb-cookie-consent-v1
Type: first-party local storage
Purpose: remembers whether optional cookies are accepted or declined.
Duration: until you change your choice or clear this site’s browser storage.
Category: essential preference storage.

Google Analytics

Names: _ga and _ga_RQMDQE8DCM
Type: first-party cookies set by Google Analytics.
Purpose: distinguish visits and maintain session information for page-view reports.
Duration: typically up to two years; browser limits and property settings may shorten this.
Category: optional analytics, loaded only with your permission.

Hosting or security services may use essential technologies to deliver or protect the site. Those provider-managed technologies are not switched off by declining optional cookies.

Your consent choice

“Accept All” enables Google Analytics. “Manage Settings” opens your preferences, where you can select “Reject Optional” or save your choice with optional cookies switched off. No Google Analytics script or collection requests are loaded before consent. Advertising personalization remains disabled.

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice at any time. Rejecting optional cookies stops this integration’s further analytics collection and removes accessible first-party analytics cookies, but does not delete previously collected data. If your browser blocks local storage, your choice may not be remembered after a reload.

Advertisements and linked websites

Our advertisements and publisher links are ordinary links to external websites. They do not embed the advertiser’s cookies on this page. Once you visit an external site, its own cookie policy and controls apply independently of your Canada MSB preference.

Browser controls

Your browser’s privacy settings can block or delete cookies and clear local storage for this site. Clearing the stored preference will cause the notice to appear again. Blocking all essential technologies may affect website delivery or security checks.
